How It Works
01 - Book
Take a look at our packages below, get in touch, and we'll bring everything needed to your event.
We'll arrive early, set up the backdrop and lighting, and have everything ready before your guests arrive.
02 - Smile
Throughout the event, we'll invite your guests to step in front of the camera.
We'll give them simple direction and create a variety of portraits individually, as couples, families or groups.
The whole process takes just a few minutes, so guests can get back to enjoying the party.
03 - Download
After the event, we'll carefully edit the photographs and create a beautiful private online gallery.
Within 48 hours, you and your guests will receive a link to view, download and enjoy the finished images!

Built by us, for your guests. We’re a husband and wife photography duo based in Leeds who love creating great photographs and making people feel at ease in front of the camera. We created The Event Portrait Co. to bring that experience to weddings, parties and events, giving guests the chance to leave with something genuinely special. Because every great event deserves great photographs of the people who made it memorable.

Award-winning photographer with a background in professional headshots and event photography. He brings an eye for detail and lighting, ensuring all of your guests get beautiful images.
Kayleigh Newsome-Kibble
Photographer and performer with a background in musical theatre, singing and dance. She brings a natural eye for posing and movement, helping guests relax and feel confident in front of the camera.
Why We Created The Event Portrait Co.
We love a good photo booth. They can be great fun.
But we felt there was room for something a little different.
We'd seen people arrive at weddings, parties and special events looking incredible, dressed up, celebrating with people they love and making memories, only for the photographs to be quick phone snaps or pictures taken in front of a photo booth.
As professional photographers, we thought: "what if guests could have something better?"
A real photographer behind the camera. Beautiful studio lighting. A simple, elegant backdrop. And someone there to guide you, help you feel comfortable and make sure you look your best.

FAQ
Do guests have to purchase their photos?
Absolutely not. The booking fee covers the whole portrait experience AND any images. Guests can download their images within your event gallery for free within 48 hours.
How many people can you photograph?
That depends on the size and length of your event, but we'll photograph as many guests as possible during your booking. For larger events, we can recommend the appropriate number of hours to make sure everyone gets an opportunity to have their portrait taken.
How long does a portrait session take?
Usually just 2–5 minutes per person or group. That means guests can have their portraits taken without disappearing from the party for half an hour. We’ll capture a couple for each person/group.
Can we book you for longer?
Absolutely. Additional hours can be added to any booking at £150/hr. Just let us know what you're after when you get in touch!
Do you travel/where are you based?
We're based in Leeds and cover events throughout Yorkshire, including Leeds, York, Harrogate, Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield and beyond. We also travel further afield for selected events, just get in touch to discuss your location.
How much space do you need?
Our set up requires around 4 x 4m of space. We also require a minimum of 2.5m in terms of ceiling height to make sure we have enough room for our lighting.
How long does set-up take?
Set-up takes around 30 minutes but we aim to be at your event 60 minutes beforehand to make sure we're good to go. We usually arrive before guests, or during a quiet period depending on the type of event.
Can you photograph outside?
Our standard set-up is indoors. We can discuss setting up outdoors depending on the conditions, but inside usually works best.
Are you insured?
Yes, we're fully insured and have Public Liability Insurance.
When is the best time to have you at our event?
The best time depends on the type of event, but we'll always help you find a slot that fits naturally into your plans.
For weddings, we usually recommend the drinks reception following the ceremony. Guests are relaxed, dressed at their best and already spending time mingling while photographs and canapés are taking place. It means everyone has plenty of opportunity to step in front of the camera without missing the party later in the evening.
For parties and celebrations, we generally recommend starting once most guests have arrived and had time to settle in, when the atmosphere is in full swing.
For corporate events, balls and awards evenings, the drinks reception, arrival period or time before dinner is often ideal, giving guests something enjoyable to do while they mingle.
We'll work with you and your event schedule to find the perfect time, making sure the portrait experience feels like part of the occasion, rather than taking people away from it.
